when I was a little girl I used to go to the dime store not far from my house and I would look at all the stuff.

Makeup, brooches, embroidered hankies, perfume, toys, candy...

I remember there were 2 brooches I was particularly interested in. One was a swan with rhinestones on the body and the other was this orange dude.

I remember going back again and again until I had enough money to buy one and the decision was a tough one.

I think I made the right decision.

This one definitely fits my personality the best.

I can't believe I still have this funny little dude!

'treasure'

Okay, so, I finally got my Etsy shop rolling (kind of) My friends keep encouraging me to get going and I appreciate it.

I'm just a butt dragger at heart!

Anyhow, now that I have a few things in my shop I want to show off the newest beach 'treasure' bracelet I just finished for a gal in Colorado and it'll be in the mail by Thursday.

I gotta make myself one of these! actually, I had one and I sold it off my wrist!

My friend Laura has one of these and every time she wears it she sells one! Yay Laura! I love it when that happens!!

I just can't let it go...






I've remade the naked lady bead so that the silver head pin doesn't come out of her bottom.

I think it's a little nicer, not that I meant anything by the previous beads, they just needed a little 'adjusting'.

Okay, okay, so this might be easier on the eyes then the last post !

Okay, so I've been working on 'The Girls' and this is what I've come up with so far.

So what do you think?...

Body Bead.. It's a first. (for me) My niece Angie, is a OC roller (Derby) girl and they're having a fund raiser for breast cancer in April. I haven't commited yet, I don't know if I can duplicate this body ( boobie) bead... we'll see.

Oh! and if you need to brush up on your breast exam skills this is a pretty entertaining little video on the basic how to. none like I've ever seen before and worth the time.

I gotta do something new...
